We are currently in production on a new series to be aired on public television called "Safe Harbor - Building for the Future" about new and innovative building products and construction technology. The past few years brought several projects that were aired internationally.

We continue to service national and international clients on a regular basis, in multiple languages.

One such project was a 30 minute broadcast documentary about Citrus fruit and juice production for Chinese Cable television.

Another 30 minute documentary for international distribution was for Sumitoma Corporation (largest grocery chain in Japan) about a day in the life of a grapefruit.

We produced a television pilot and instructional video for airing on PBS called "SMART INTERIORS" based on interior design, hosted by Cinny deWitt,ASID.

Our favorite documentary is "PIONEER MEMORIES" currently airing on PBS in Florida and airing nationally on the History Channel. Produced for Stuart Heritage, Inc., a Florida historical society, and underwritten by the State of Florida, it traces the little known stories of settlement of Florida by the introduction of citrus and cattle.

The story is recounted through interviews of descendents of original pioneers, and shown by re-enactments of cattle drives and encampments. Prominent area cattle ranchers and citrus growers and their families shared antique memorabilia and photographs to help document this early history.

This documentary received two National Bronze TELLY awards, and the Florida Historical Society's Golden Quill Award for Best Documentary.

Billy's prior documentary work includes several show episodes for a travel adventure series aired on the DISCOVERY CHANNEL. He also did four environmental specials about Florida's fragile ecosystems for NBC.

A large group of talented people work with us at Billy Elkins Films in an ongoing capacity: grips, gaffers, electricians, production assistants, makeup artists, hairstylists, and many other motion picture industry professionals.
